"George Adams, a mutual friend who manages a Des Moines sporting goods store called Frontier Outfitting, said to me one day, “Chad, you and Kurt Lemke really should meet.” Kurt who? Well, now I know. It never ceases to amaze me that, in a world supposedly shrunk by technology, 20 miles can be a chasm. God only knows how many more kindred souls are living just out of reach. Thank God for people like George, who bring us together in due time."
